Safety
Your safety comes before reconnecting.
One Minute Earlier helps with hard decisions after a breakup. It is not emergency support. If you might be in danger, or might hurt yourself, reach a person now.
If you need help right now
If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

If you might hurt yourself, contact a crisis line now. Find a free, confidential helpline in your country.
If you can, move near someone you trust and tell them directly that you need help staying safe.
If there is fear, abuse, threats, or stalking
You deserve support and safety before any decision about contact. A local domestic-violence or victim-support service can help you make a safety plan; the same directory lists services by country. You don’t have to reply to anything that scares or pressures you.
How One Minute Earlier handles safety
- Safety questions come first. Every assessment includes a few questions about fear, pressure, and immediate danger, and explains why they’re asked.
- When something is unsafe, the normal path stops. Instead of advice about contact, you’ll see safety support. No paid offer is shown on that path.
- Boundaries are respected. If someone has asked for no contact, blocked you, or hasn’t answered repeated messages, One Minute Earlier won’t help push through that boundary. It helps you handle the urge instead.
- Maya checks too. If something you write to Maya suggests danger or self-harm, she stops and points you to urgent help.
- Nothing is shared. What you write in the safety questions stays on your device and is never sent to analytics. See Privacy.
Wanting contact doesn’t make you a bad person.
Respecting a boundary is the action that matters now. You don’t have to decide anything at the peak of the feeling.
